Education: Master of Arts (1991), Academy of Music in Poznań, Class of Piano of Prof. Jan Jański (1991); worked also with prof. Bogumił Nowicki and prof. Anna Organiszczak

Further education: Master courses in Poland and in other countries; participated in prof. Rudolf Buchbinder’s course in Zurich

MG’s professional performance was reviewed several times. Each time she received the highest mark. The most recent review was conducted in June 2011.

MG’s students received many prizes and distinctions at national and international piano competitions. Graduates of the secondary level received the highest grades during the diploma exam (June 2015). Several students continue studying piano at the university level in academies of music.

Collaborated with the concert bureau of the Zielona Góra Philharmonic for many years, performing both as a soloist and member of a chamber ensemble.

Extensive experience as an accompanist. Performed with instrumentalists and vocalists, e.g. Dr hab. Jolanta Sipowicz and Dr hab. Bogumiła Tarasiewicz from the Institute of Music of the University of Zielona Góra. The repertoire spanned musical epochs from baroque to contemporary compositions.

Several times invited to give lectures in school of music of the Zielona Góra region:

1. Articulation in keyboard compositions of Jan Sebastian Bach
2. Working with a polyphonic composition
3. Interpretation of sonatinas and piano sonatas by students of the first stage education
4. Technical and performative problems in compositions of elementary piano education
5. Preparing a student for a public performance: concert, exam, audition, competition
6. Classic sonata and stylistic requirements of the epoch

Lectures were usually accompanied by public lessons

Awards and Distinctions

  • Many diplomas and congratulatory letters for (1) preparing students for national and international piano competitions, (2) outstanding accompaniment, the last dated 25 June 2015
  • Yearly awards of the School Directors
  • Many diplomas and thank-you letters for work benefiting the artistic community and music schools in the region
