My comment on the article Spelling mistake exposes death certificate as a fake by Will Pavia in The Times, 24 July 2020.
When my mother died in Poland in 2014, the state issued a falsified death certificate. The maiden name of her mother, my grandmother, was falsified.
There is an important reason behind this forgery. My mother’s cousin, Witold Giriat, was the country’s leading physicist in the field of semiconductor physics and worked in the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. He prized his personal integrity above the demands of the functionaries of the Communist state. During the 1970s, he was driven out of the laboratory he created and led and left Poland to work abroad. He started anew in Venezuela, where he established a world class research laboratory again. This was before Venezuela descended into chaos.
The Polish authorities wanted to cover the link between Witold and my mother, because our family was also targeted. Post-WWII, my parents were imprisoned in Communist concentration camps in northern Russia for many years, as a result of the Soviet Union’s occupation of Eastern Poland.
I am also a physicist and both I and my pianist wife Małgorzata Głuchowska were fired from our workplaces, the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the State School of Music in Zielona Góra in 2015, because we value our integrity above the demands of the criminal state. Our daughter has also been targeted in her elementary school. This was a carefully planned and coordinated campaign.
So, the article describes a dog bites man type of story. I provided you with a man bites dog alternative: the state as a criminal organisation. The origins of this criminal organisation are Communist of course.
Over the years, we have dealt with many false documents issued by the state. There are blatantly false medical statements signed by physicians, false statements and documents signed by school directors, state inspectors, state prosecutors, university officials, government ministers, while the country’s subsequent Prime Ministers and Presidents protected the criminals at the lower rungs of the hierarchy. One of those PM’s became the President of the European Council.
